My boyfriend and I stayed at this hip and cozy hotel for 2 nights. The owners, Elisabeth and Eduardo were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed hanging out in the lounge/lobby/bar and chatting with them. I stay at the MERCURE at least 4 times a year. The staff is excellent. Most of the guys at the front desk know me by name. The food is also good. It's in the perfect location. The only thing I don't like is the rule on visitors, which a lot of hotels in Santo Domingo have the same rule... more
