We spent a night at the Reserve during the Christmas 2007 holiday season. The good news is that the room was spotless and had enough space that we did not feel crowded. Auberge du Lac Archambault

The Auberge is in the small town of St-Donat which we had chosen to ski, do some snow mobiling and dog sledding. The Auberge was a bit outside of town but next to a beautiful (frozen) lake. Food was good and plentiful, room was smaill but cheerful and clean. My two teenage sons had a great time skiing, and could get to the ski hill by shutlle which was very convenient. The evening activities were somewhat lacking except for the broomball games. Everything considered it was great value and we have rebooked for 6 days over Christmas... more
