We stayed for one night in the Avalon on a weekend trip to North Cornwall. The decor and ambience is wonderfully relaxing. The huge queen bed in our room was very comfortable with views from it out over the fields to the sea. The choice at breakfast would shame a good many hotels and I can recommend the porridge made... more

Myself and Husband had our first visit back to this hotel in May since it has changed hands, we had been staying there on and off for ten years as we have familly in the looe area. The Hotel is a gorgeous old building with amazing views of the river-this will never change. Unfortunatley it would seem the new owners... more
