Wonderful! We found a very wet Lake District in August didn't dampen our spirits and a large part of that was due to Compston House. We stayed here for one night in Augusut 08. It was peak season and the Lake District is very expensive, so we paid £110 for a superior room (it was the only one they had left) on B&B basis.
