Look no further than Carlo`s if you want to have a enjoyable evening set in fabulous surroundings, great staff and food to die for.We went with some friends for a meal and none of us were disappointed with the service and food we had (our friends are very fussy about where and what they eat) but they said they will be... more

This is such a "little gem" of a B & B. With such wonderful hosts, superb accommodation - spotless room and bathroom - you would be foolish not to book your stay here. Oh, and did I mention the breakfast....... well what a hearty treat lies in store. Thank you for such a lovely break. See you next year. more

my wife and I spent a long week-end at St.Georges and found the hotel comfortable and welcoming, the staff were good and the hotel and room clean and comfortable. We had a sea view room which was worth the extra. We only had breakfast and casual midday meals, they were well cooked and presented. The cream tea was excellent and to... more

Seahorse Seafood Bistro and Restaurant - formerly Richard's Restaurant

Oct 10, 2008

We had heard about this restaraunt, and decided to try it out. There was three of us in our party and we arrived together.. We were shown quickly to our table and offered drinks while we looked through the menu. Our choices were made, and we sat and relaxed waiting for our meal to arrive. My husband and I chose... more

Carlo's Restaurant

Oct 10, 2008

We go to Carlo's twice a week, and we have never been dissatisfied with our meals. Every dish is prepared and served professionally, and the tastes are amazing. Just recently we enjoyed a special of Sea Bass, and it just melted in our mouths. The atmosphere is grand, and Carlo, Claire, and everyone make the evening special no matter what... more

I have been coming to Llandudno for many years travelling from just outside Manchester at weekends to kite surf on the many fantastic beaches around Llandudno and the North Wales Coast. For my wife’s birthday I decided to treat her to a luxury stay in Llandudno and not the guest house we normally stay in when we visit. I was... more

Ambassador Hotel

Oct 9, 2008

I have stayed in many of the sea front hotels in Llandudno for work and this was a last minute booking at the Ambassador. The décor is very dated and shabby the evening meal was disgusting the breakfast was just a wash of greasy slim on a small plate. The room notices threatened instant death if you smoked yet the... more

Was recommended Mandie and Carl's Guest House by friends. From the website it looked and sounded beautiful. The website didnt do it justice at all. What a beautiful, well presented, thoughtfully decorated and thoroughly clean place No9 is. I thought we were being well undercharged for our accomodation for the standard we encountered here. The characterless motels and lodges around... more

Elsinore Hotel

Oct 7, 2008

On arrival we felt a little suspicious by the cleanliness of the fish tank in the reception area? Even more suspicious when asked to pay for the room etc before seeing it? We are not naive but probably tired and awaiting to eagerly meet some other friends. Heaved the cases upstairs commenting on the damp plaster on the walls as... more

We have recently returned from a lovely weeks stay at Buxton House and would highly recommend it. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. We just came back from Bodysgallen, and what a treat it was! Where to start? We were welcomed by the concierge at the door who carried our bags. We were checked in by a lovely girl in Reception, who informed us that we had been upgraded to a suite that had just been refurbished. What a lovely suite it was,... more

My family and I stayed at the Imperial on Saturday 13th of September 2008 as we were attending a Wedding in Wales. We had a vast choice of accommodation at Llandudno but we chose the imperial as the booking officer promoted the lovely pool and the fact we could use it on the Sunday after we had booked out. I've just come back from a lovely weekend at the Royal Hotel. Our group was extremely well looked after and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were cheerful and accommodating throughout our stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable (not anything like some of the comments I've read here) and the food was excellent. The location... more

The Grand Ash

The staff at this hotel soldiered manfully on in difficult conditions. Both rooms I tried were tired with very basic facilities, central heating not working, no spare blankets - brrrrr. Showers held together with masking tape and plumbed incorrectly, select hot if you want it colder. Seemed popular with the older generation, I was about 30 years too early. Many... more
