The Johanna I staff was welcoming and helpful, in English. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. The walk to and from the train/bus station is fine if your suitcase rolls well on cobblestone sidewalks, and if you know which way to go upon leaving the station. We had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Torre Guelfa in April of this year. They recommended their associates the Pitti Gola E Cantina for a light meal.
