We have just returned from our vacation to beautiful County Kerry. My husband, daughter and I travelled the Ring of Kerry two weeks ago, and we enjoyed our stop in Glenbeigh. The Bog Village Museum is a must-see for anyone touring the "Ring." It is a beautiful place. We felt as though we had stepped back in time. The Village... more

The Ocean Wave is a nice, comfortable little guest house on the N70 (Ring of Kerry) just outside the town of Glenbeigh. There are really no big towns or concentrated areas along the Ring of Kerry so don't worry that it's not real close to anything -- nothing really is, and that's part of the charm. The guest house has... more

Stayed in glenbeigh in the towers in august . it is a nice old fashioned hotel and well positioned to tour kerry. the room was a little dated but very spacious and with a great view. the dining room is overpriced but the bar food is very good if you can manage to get a seat it is very popular... more

We stayed in this small hotel for the weekend- bit of a warren, I think it has 16 rooms in total. We were lucky that we were given Room 12, the family room which is a great size and has been very recently redecorated. Rooms 1 & 10 are nice too, Room 4 is pretty small. All are furnished with... more

This is an OK hotel in a cute little village on the Ring of Kerry. The biggest pull is the location, a few minutes drive from Rossbeigh Beach which is quite beautiful. The town of Glenbeigh is a typical rural Irish town - a few pubs and a church and a couple of hotels. (There are some new housing estates... more

My husband, 10 month old daughter and I recently spent 2 nights at the Towers Hotel. On arrival, we were very surprised to see that there was no lift in the hotel and that we were placed in a bedroom at the top of 2 flights of stairs (not convenient with a pushchair and lots of luggage that a baby... more

We stayed in the Towers on a trip around Europe and found it to be one of the best hotels we lodged at. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and gave some great recommendations for sight seeing. We ate one night in the restaurant and the standard of food was also very good. The rooms were lovely and will be... more

The St. Josephs Golf Society have been coming to The Towers Hotel in Glenbeigh for 18 years now and to a man we believe it is the greatest hotel in the world. We all travel extensively and we have never found hospitality that rivals what the Towers provides. Dolores, Brendan and the Sweeney girls are very friendly and professional. If... more

It's a stunning location, we had a great time there, camping nearby and had surf lessons too! There are mountains all around and the beach itself is amazing. Good, traditional music at a nearby pub, can't remember the name though! more

My boyfriend and I have just returned home after a memorable weekend in Glenbeigh and The Towers Hotel! The Hotel was spotless, the food terrific, the service was outstanding, but most of all the staff were amazing. The rooms are unique and our room opened out onto a beautiful garden. After a delicious four course meal in the dining room... more

I visited the Bog Village in 2002 and again in 2004. This village is one of my favorites in the whole of Ireland. The place is serene and beautiful, with bog ponies to see, Irish music always being played, a great gift shop, and the best Irish coffee in the world at the Red Fox Inn next door. Best of... more

I had the pleasure of visiting the Bog Village while on a Ring of Kerry tour. The village is beautiful and a very nice way to step back into time and see what it was like to live in an 18th century bog in Ireland. My favorite part of the visit was the Irish coffee at the Red Fox! They... more

Situtated in the heart of the world famous RIng of Kerry lies a recreation of a 18th century Irish village. ALso next door is a fine pub restaurant. You will be delighted with the menu and the lively dancing. more
