Cafe 565

Had a quick pizza lunch. We're both vegetarians, and there were other options besides pizza - which is nice to see! The pizza was quite good. Local atmosphere - reminded me of the cafes in the small town I went to college in. They brought the food out to our tables. Pizza was fresh cooked. Definintely not fine dining, but... more

I wish I had tried this place before the morning of my last day on Lanai - because I would have come down every day! It is a favorite among the locals. I had french toast - very nice. My travelling companions had eggs and omlettes - also very good. We sat outdoors on a cool and shady terrace. The... more

I live in Southern California and have been a regular visitor to the beautiful and quiet island of Lanai for the past five years. A requirement for every trip is time at the Local Gentry. It is in this charming shop that locals and visitors alike come to "talk story" and see the great clothing finds that owner Jenna Gentry... more

I recently visited this hotel on my honeymoon for a few days before visiting the other Four Seasons (The Lodge) therafter. I found the Lodge to be much more uniqe and tranquil. The Manele Bay Hotel offers most of what you expect from a Four Seasons Hotel: lots of staff waiting around to do something, but not a lot of... more

Greeted by name and with a fresh flower lei! True Aloha! Huge, spacious, very clean room with a comfy bed! Slippers and Robes, even for our daughter on the rollaway! Oversized Lanai with cozy couch, chairs and table. We ordered roomservice, and they set it up with linen tablecloth on the Lanai - Nice touch! Huge Bathroom with seperate shower... more

We snuck away from Oahu for a few days following our wedding for a mini-honeymoon in Lanai. We stayed at both Four Seasons properties and were wholly impressed by both! They are a most wonderful experience---exactly what you would expect from a Four Seasons. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay, the transportation... more

We dined throughout the resort and local establishment eateries when we were on Lanai for our honeymoon and the service and food at the Hulopo'e Court were by far the worst we saw. Actually, the food at the whole of the Manele Bay resort couldn't compare to the offerings in Lanai City or the Lodge at Koele. The service staff... more

We snuck away to Lanai for a mini-honeymoon last week and ate meals all over the island (which isn't hard, its so small). The best meal we ate, by far, was dinner at the Lanai City Grille. The service was impeccable, the food was masterfully prepared and the dishes expertely concienved. For half the price of fine dining at the... more

My wife and I recently stayed at hotel lanai and found it dirty and unfriendly. The new owners have allot to learn about the hotel restaurant business. The food was not as good as we heard it was going to be. maybe because the chef does not live on Lanai...I think she lives on maui but who knows..... more attention... more

My husband and I spent 2 nights here at the tail end of our first trip to Hawaii and loved the resort. We loved the rooms of course - and the bed.....ahhhhh. Amazing. We stayed in a garden view room and it was beautiful - honestly I preferred that view over the ocean views...just my personal opinion. The gardens there... more

We decideded to visit this resort on Lanai due to an excellent kama'aina rate (hawaii resident). For military personnel assigned to Hawaii, this can be documented with a copy of the orders assigning you to Hawaii. Although it was not advertised on the website, this resort is offering through Dec 08, I believe, a rate of $269 per night. That... more

We traveled to Lana'i from Los Angeles via Honolulu on United with an inter-island flight from Honolulu on Island Air. Tip: Island Air uses the comuter terminal which requires either another TSA security check, or an escorted trip with an Island Air agent from the Inter-Island Terminal. Stay in the inter-island terminal as long you can as it is well... more

My wife and I stayed at the Lodge at Koele for our honeymoon. We originally had booked 4 nights at Koele, and 3 at the sister hotel, Manele Bay, but after staying at Koele for a couple nights, we canceled our switch. The Lodge is not your typical Hawaiian beach hotel. Instead, it resides in the misty, inner mountains of... more

We visited FS MB as the first part of our honeymoon.. so some could argue no matter where you were it would be the trip of a lifetime... but this property and the ammenties it afforded to us made the beginning of our Hawaiian honeymoon simply divine. The Hotel Lanai is a cute little hotel that sits on the high end of the slope facing Dole Park in Lanai City. It's in a great, in town location if you want an authentic, non-resort feel. We stayed in room 2, which was clean and simple. It was one of the rooms with the shared lanai, for which I... more

Since most of the previous reviews dwell at length on the wonderful experience you are likely to have, we decided to focus on three things that could use some improvement. Otherwise, we can't wait to go back. This was one of our best vacations. 1. The beds. We are picky and prefer a firmer bed. Their beds are no match... more

We would gladly travel 5,500 miles to return to this hotel every Summer and that really says it all. Lana'i is a special place and the Four Seasons Lana'i is wonderful. Within 24 hours of arrival you will relax and recharge totally. The rooms are spotless, soothing and comfy. It is worth spending extra dollars for a view of the... more
