A little dearer than the cheap eats we usually frequented, but worth the money... except the rip-off prices on the seafood on ice. 4 tiger prawns came to 1,400 baht ! Ruined what was a great meal. We spent 8 days at The Merlin Beach in early July and had a great time enjoying the hotels facilities especially the pools. The reception on arriving made you feel very special with cool towels and a fruit cocktail. They explained all the procedures in terms of towel allocation, key card to the room, breakfasts etc. We requested and obtained... more
