This hotel is one of the best that I have ever encountered. The views are breathtaking…the staff is great (the owner speaks perfect English, which proved to be invaluable for a business question)…the breakfasts were yummy…location is convenient to all the Valpo action. I’ve traveled a lot, and the Robinson Crusoe Inn ranks as one of the best. Strongly recommend!!! more

A beautiful little B&B run by a very friendly and helpful couple, Martin (an Australian) and Lisette. Absolutely beautiful views of the harbour and city, as long as you don't mind staying about a 5-10 minute walk out of the city centre. This restaurant was recommended by the owner of the B&B where we stayed just around the corner. We didn't find any great fault with the French bistro atmosphere or the food, which was somewhere between mediocre and OK. Our hackles were raised by the questionable business practices.
