This probably is THE place to stay in Datong, but I can't quite give it 4 stars. Given the alternatives, it probably deserves it, but I wasn't "wowed." Excellent hotel for price and location. We internet booked through China Bookings and we got a double room with breakfast (very good breakfast buffet selection) for RMB490 (however breakfast closes at 9.30am).
