This is wonderful small hotel with just 10 suites. The bay is at the end of the short drive, but the hotel is set on the hill above the bay. The hotel is dated and the staff cooking the hot breakfast very unfriendly. Also most days at breakfast the bacon etc ran out. Just dreadful. The problem with the Seychelles is that you are stuck with 3 star properties like this one or have to pay a fortune for the 5* star ones with decent service. There's nothing inbetween. Average. Seychelles has much better hotels on other islands. My tips are: 1)Make friends with some staff to ensure good service at bar, pool, room service.
