I loved the Hostal el Punto from the moment I walked through the entrance although I am more used to stay in 5* hotels. I stayed there for a week because it was recommended by friends to be the nicest place in La Serena. Delightful hotel. Beautiful courtyard, very friendly and helpful staff. Good public spaces. The room wasn't that big, but that was not a problem. Nice big windows and high ceilings. The hotel is a short walk from a main pedestrian street. The street is busy, but inside the courtyard, you don't hear the noise at all. It really is a delightful... more
