I chose the Sheraton because it was located directly across from the campus of UC San Diego. I thought it was a bit pricey until I saw the prices of some of the other places nearby. Cozymel's Mexican Grill

There's a great restaurant in La Jolla, in the UTC shopping mall. It's called Cozymel's Mexican Grill. It has very nice Mexican and non-Mexican food, which is enjoyable for everyone. Highly recommended! more

This 100% non-smoking claim is bunk. Again we booked in a hotel that said it was smoke free. Apparently smokers love to stay in non-smoking hotels because the rooms smell fresh. So, they go outside and smoke. They smoke at the entrances, the pool area and the walkways. A non-smoker has no place to go outside that is smoke free.... more
