Los Alamos' downtown is roughly a two block stretch with two gas stations, a motel, and roughly half a dozen restaurants/bars. American Flatbread sits at the Northern end of this downtown strip. Located on the main drag on the West end of town, this hamburger stand has good burgers, great fries, great milk shakes and malts and good prices.
