One of the First Outbacks opened in California (1999). The Rack of Lamb used to be 16.99 or 17.99, it is 25.99 now. more
Hunan Villa is by far my favorite Chinese food restaurant. Everything I've had there is excellent. The Potstickers, Lettuce Wraps, Lemon Chicken and the Walnut Prawns are a few of my favorite dishes. Check it out it's great! more
Pinole is a pretty decent little city, considering it borders the city of Richmond, aka the Murder Capital of Northern California. There are plenty of stores, restaurants and services for business or leisure travellers, and the proximity to both the Bay Area and the Napa Valley make it a good base of operations for tourists. This 70's-era motel has been... more
My mother and I booked our stay at this property when we recently travelled to the bay area to deal with my grandmother's estate. It was a good location for us, a good price, and we were told it had been recently remodeled and was in great shape. Our first experience was opening the door to our room and being... more
I have stayed at this hotel approximately 8 times in the past year and everytime I have found clean comfortable rooms. The towels and sheets have been clean and there is always soap and minor toiletries which is good for a low budget place. The bathrooms have been clean. The desk staff has been polite and responsive. There are refridgerators... more
The appetizer (fritto misto) was good and the peartini was excellent (if a bit pricey at $10). The main courses (ahi tuna, mac 'n cheese & ceasar w/ chicken) were all fine, though I think $33 for ahi is pushing it - especially for being way out in Pinole. And the salad portion was a bit small for an entree.... more
I stayed here on a rainy day and the ants didn't like it outside any more than I did. They were all over the room, including the bed. The managment was quick and pleasant about moving me to another room. If atmosphere matters to you I wouldn't stay here but for someplace to lay your head it was fine. It... more
This place is fairly inexpensive but once you check in you will begin to see why. I travel quite a bit for business and usually stay in other hotels. I have an idea of what to expect from motels as opposed to hotels so I am generally not too particular about them and mainly require that they are clean. The... more
I stayed at the Motel 6, Pinole two years ago and was pleased so I booked it again for this trip. They must be under new management because it was completely different. We got one set of towels for 4 people, the shower drain was clogged and very gross, the bathroom floor was sticky and had a strong urine smell,... more
We overnighted here after having flown in from the UK. We were dead beat, and just wanted somewhere to put our heads down, and the Days Inn fitted the bill. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were pleasant, and we had a decent complimentary breakfast of juice, cereals, bread/toast or bagels and pastries to... more
This place is a dump. Needs remodeling badly. The room was filthy. I should have been skeptical b/c we had to pre-apy upon registering, so there was no escaping to another hotel. Until they spend some $ to remodel, the health dept. should shut them down. more
