We stayed at the Sandestin Hilton from July 6-12, 2008. The first thing you want to avoid is the front desk clerk. Her name is Ariel. There are several other clerks. But I got so lucky **not**. Most places in Destin are VERY expensive per night...especially if you stay right on the beach. Well, I have 3 kids and didn't want to spend $300/night on a room, so we booked The Comfort Inn. It is right across the highway from Henderson State Park. You can pay $4 per car to get in the Park and it's right... more
Sandpiper Cove

Just got back from a weeks stay at the Sandpiper Cove and it was great. We were close to great restaurants and attractions (Big Kahuna water park). The condo was clean and in a great location (right by one of the 5 pools). Our next trip to Destin will definitely include Sandpiper Cove!! more
