Concept is nice. Place is overall quiet as promised. Iris Suite - There was no wood for the wood burning fireplace - we had to go spend $10 dollars to buy some. No wine glasses in room with kitchenette - $10 more dollars to go buy some. Hot tub was noisy - like sleeping near a running washing machine all... more

Had to wait over 40 minutes to get food, was too expensive, and couldn't buy togo buscuits. A waste of time. Go somewhere else...don't support a place that is not customer service oriented. more

My wife and I just ate lunch here a few hours ago. I am back at our refills. She even said they would give us our last refill in a to-go cup which is exactly what we did. She was very nice and helpful. In fact, we overheard her make a similar suggestion to the lady in front of us... more

The only good thing at the Nashville House is the fried biscuits and apple butter. Everything else seems to come straight out of a can or other food service packaging. My brother in law and I are vegetarians, so our only choice was the vegetable plate. I could swear that in the 80s the vegetable plate consisted of fresh vegetables,... more

My fiance and I reserved our one night stay for $149, which included dinner and breakfast voucher, and tickets at a theatre down the road. the bar was good, restaurant was ok and the location was ideal. the main strip of shopping was within walking distance. However, the rooms were so creepy, I wanted to check out immediatly, but we... more

I read the other reviews before writing this - my experience at the Daily Axe to Grind was the same horrible experience that I have read that others wrote! My son, daughter in law and I were enjoying a beautiful fall day in Southern Indiana and stopped in Nashville. We thought a cup of coffe from The Daily Axe to... more

All of these negative reviews are exactly right. We ordered a cafe au lait with their coffe of the day. We thought that is was not very good, so we asked for a regualr cafe au lait. They gave us a regular coffe. We asked if they could please correct their mistake and give us a cafe au lait and... more

Cornerstone Inn

Excellent!!! We stayed at the Cornerstone for 5 nights last month. Very nice. Room was spacious and clean. Extras included snacks during the day like lemonade... Breakfast included with room was lovely. Close by walking to shops and dining in town, Great get away. The fall colors were just starting to change. Have fun. more

I was told this place had the best pot roast. Not so. I've had better. However, the portions were HUGE! My friend was disappointed with her open faced steak sandwich. Prices were reasonable, but the taste just wasn't what I was looking for. more

I just wanted to share this horrible experience with my fellow Hoosiers (and others), in case you ever vist Brown County (Nashville, In). My daughter, daughter-in-law, and another friend, and I went on a bus tour from here in southern Indiana to Brown County yesterday. We were looking forward to a nice autumn day of shopping and getting away. This... more

I booked this primarily because it was pet-friendly. My mom and I took a vacation to Nashville to see the leaves and do some shopping. The check-in was smooth and I was pleased that we were offered an upgrade to the big suite on the first floor. The hosts were very friendly and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable.... more

My husband and I booked room #14 (the Fred Tilton room) at the Cornerstone. This was our first stay and we were thrilled the minute we arrived. We were happy to see that it was in the middle of downtown Nashville, amidst all the quaint shops and cafes of this cute little town. I had recently read the September 29,... more

The best red wine produced in the state! During the fall season stop by one of the two tasting rooms to try the Vista Red with mulling spices, it's to die for! Also, try the Vista Red by itself. It's worth every last drop. more

I live in Columbus, and my family makes the drive down 46 at least once a month to come here. It can be busy, but that just shows the quality. The tenderloin sandwich is good, but I almost always get the liver and onions. I REFUSE TO GET IT ANYWHERE ELSE. Liver is usually really gross to me, but here,... more

This property is the perfect place to stay for a trip to Brown County, Indiana. I usually prefer to stay in town when on holiday but this country location just minutes outside of Nashville is a better choice. The town is lovely to visit but a bit over crowded with muffler-free motorcycles. The 1875 Homestead is a lovely historic home... more

While staying at the AWESOME Salt Creek Golf Resort in nearby Nashville, Indiana my husband and I took a long, winding drive to the old-timey, quaint and picturesque village of Story, IN.
