We stayed at the hotel for one night, en route back to Thimpu. The room & bathroom were modern, pleasant & clean, with nice views across the river to Wangdue town. We stayed at Kichu Resort, Wangduephodrang (Wangdi) for 2 nights in the last week of April, 2008. I must say that the location of this resort (less than 30 metres away from a fast flowing river) and with mountains on both sides (densely forested) is really exotic ! We had a one night stay here during our trip to Bhutan. The hotel is located several kms outside of Wangdi in a deep valley. It is built right down by a river, the Dang Chhu. Our room was on the second floor of one of the multi-unit buildings, with a nice balcony, lots of natural light, and nice view... more
