We have stayed in this hotel in the past and it is getting progressively worse. This was our last time. The front desk staff are rude and very unfriendly. When booking the room, we asked for an extended stay King room rate and were quoted a low "queen" rate. When we checked in we were told that if we wanted... more

I'm surprised at some of the less-than-favorable reviews for this hotel. This was one of the least expensive chain motels in town so I wasn't expecting much beyond the basics. We were pleasantly surprised that that wasn't the case. Check-in was fast and efficient. Staff who checked us in (Lindsey) was friendly and helpful. Rooms were on par with a... more

What can I say about our stay at the Cave? It's an amazingly unique place, and made for a truly relaxing and rejuvenating vacation. First off, I should mention Lindy... calling her the proprietor is a mischaracterization, because the help and courtesies that she provides goes well above and beyond that title. She responded to numerous emails I had sent... more

Typical Holiday Inn Express. Very new and cookie cutter. If you're looking for a standard clean place to stay the night, stay here. If you're looking for a holiday place to get away go elsewhere. Breakfast was free - did have bacon and eggs but they were gross (powdered) but there was cerial and toast etc. Beds were extra comfy... more

Very descent hotel. Booked a room on Priceline for a last minute hotel and got a rate well below what other less intriguing hotels were offering (even with AAA discount). Was definitely a motel without frills, but the rooms were very clean with very new interiors and amenities. Was conveniently located and easy to find with helpful and polite staff.... more

Casa Blanca

We recently stayed three nights at The Casa Blanca Inn. First of all the home and furnishings and gardens are beautiful. Our room was large, bright and well appointed. The shower was very small and had a very poor shower head and low water pressure. The breakfast room is decorated beautifully with a warm fireplace for a chilly morning and... more

I had a reservation for a non smoking room. When I got there I was told that they over booked and they only had a smoking room available. It was late at night and most of the hotels in Farmington were full. I took the room under much protest. There was not a black out curtain in the room and... more

Room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Unfortunately, there are exterior entrances as opposed to interior hallways. The shower heads are placed low...if you're 6'2 like my husband, this is important! And if you have kids make a mental note that the pool gates don't latch completely by themselves unless they are slammed...they need to be pulled closed. All in... more

The Region Inn Farmington, NM August 2008 Our stay was not to bad until the morning after having breakfast in the hotel and talking to the maintance man for a while, only to find him in the room when we returned to it. A day later I realized that was the last place I remember seeing my cell phone, so... more

The best part of staying here was the friendly owners.David was very chatty and like the previous reviewers we enjoyed a long chat over breakfast and he recommended places for us to go locally. The room was very comfortable much needed after days of camping! It was good to have a mini kitchen as well.Breakfast was nice- waffles and blueberry juice.... more

3 Rivers Eatery & Brewhouse

Sep 11, 2008

There isn't much to choose from in Farmington - but next time there, we will try something else. The ambience at 3 Rivers is more like a beer hall/pool hall setting - and the food we got matched the setting: fast food at a high price. The beer though is really good, and that was by far the best part... more

Casa Blanca

The Casa Blanca is a great property: We stayed one night at the Vista Grande Suite and were very happy with the accommodation: spacious room, cozy, and very clean, with a great bathroom. Outside the suite there is a refrigerator for your use, with coffee beans to grind, a coffee maker, and all is ready to make a truly great... more

The hotel was under renovation while I stayed there. So somethings were ready, and somethings were construction zones. It did appear to be the best hotel in the area. What was wonderful was the staff. VERY HELPFUL, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would highly recommend this hotel for price, value, and service. more

Have you ever been on vacation and stumbled upon a place that just seems to hit all the right buttons? K. B. Dillons Steak House located at 101 West Broadway in Farmington, NM was just such a place for us. This family owned steak house has been in business for 20 years or so. If our experience was any measure,... more

Very classic type of Mexican place. accomodating cooks made my 4yr old a scrambled egg after breakfast hours. Kinda high priced for typical greasy spoon type mexican food. I probably won't go back unless I'm really hungry. more

Not bad for an average hotel. This might seem boring, but consider the horrors one might find in a seemingly average place. This place distinguished because of what it was NOT. Did not seem overused, grossed out, stained or musty. It was just an unassuming room to sleep in. Free breakfast just fine too. I would appreciate free internet. everywhere... more

1) Parking lot is dully lit, no security cameras, and our van was vandalized over night. 2) The hallways are dark, the rooms are poorly lit. 3) The pool filter was apparently not working, there was human hair and other debris floating all over. Even my 9 year old wouldn't get in the water. 4) The hallway by the pool... more

Farmington Days Inn

This was the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced. The room was horrible, it smelled, it has cigarette burns on the bedspreads and sheets, plus the bed had bed bugs. The worst part was when the electricity went out during the night on the third floor we were on, which meant no air conditioning, pitch black bathroom we were... more
