Socorro is a great small town & 99% of the locals are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the 1% of the town that is arrogant and rude seems to work in this hotel. When I complained about a bad smell, I was told by the front desk that this was the “best hotel in town” and that other hotels smelled worse.... more

Just needed a place to stay when we got too tired to keep driving. Room was small, but seemed clean. It's a bit rundown, but seemed to be in okay shape. But at the price, it's hard to beat. Staff was very friendly! more

The very large array (VLA) is an impressive sight. You see it long before you get to the visitors center. Driving from the outer edge towards the center really puts into perspective the size of the site.
