Good BBQ. Sunday Brunch is pricy for what you get, but you get a chef that makes omlates and pancakes for you. The cost is so so. But it's good BBQ so I reccommend for BBQ. more
Another chain. Lesser quality than many and most. but still another chain. more
A little pricy, but great speciality pizzas. more
it is what it is... What more can you say? Not for casual dining... more
Hometown Fav. Honestly I've had and been too better. 3 stars for supporting hometown places like this. more
Another chain Resturant. Same old same old. Slightly above average cost and quality. more
This place was not a five star hotel but i had a great time there, went to orchard park for a bills game, stayed on a saturday night.....paid for a king, but was told that a cheaper double had popped up and was available, nice front desk staff, polite older lady. Night club attached to hotel was a blast. Hot... more
We were looking for something outside of Buffalo for an overnight and decided on the Clarion in Blasdell based on the AAA ranking and rate plus the approximity to Buffalo. When we pulled into the place, it was like someone else noted that it's behind a Wedding Hall/Dance Club. That wasn't a problem. I knew things may not be right... more
We reserved a king suite for $130 plus tax, and the room quality did not suit the price. The room was large, but sparsely decorated with what seemed to be thrown together mismatching pieces. There were many stains on carpeting, chairs, and even the sheets. The room appeared clean but still felt dirty and stuffy. I felt uncomfortable walking in... more
My husband & I travel to Buffalo, NY to visit family every Fall; we have stayed at the Clarion Blasdell twice now, in 2005 & 2006, and plan to stay there again this year. We travel with our very travel-savvy, well-behaved, almost-human Border Collie, Buddy. I selected this hotel in the first place because it was one of the few... more
A friend recommended I stay at the Clarion while I attended a wedding in the area. Upon pulling in, I was a little concerned - the hotel is attached to some off-putting banquet hall and "Club Paradise". However, upon check-in, the staff was pleasant. The hotel is dated and shows its age, but it's clean. The rooms are inexpensive and... more
This used to be our "go to" place for pizza. We have had nothing but problems the past 6 months. They can't seem to get their act together. I have to find a new place for good pizza. They have used up their last chance. more
This is an older hotel located behind a convention facility. I used reward points for my stay but either way this hotel was a decent value for the area south of Buffalo. My room was large, reasonably up to date and clean. The bathtub had old yellow tiles but aside from that the bathroom was fine. The bedding was newer,... more
We took a chance and decided to stay here to visit with family over the thanksgiving holiday. This hotel was nothing to write home about... but it was quiet, clean, and offered a very good value for the money. The benefits are the location, high speed internet, and free continental breakfast. You can make your own waffles at the continental... more
The concierge was a scarry-looking guy with piercings all over his face. bad sign. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it stunk of smoke, and we found hidden ashtrays in the desk drawer. There was a giant stain in the carpet. more
Not a big fan of the pizza. They cut it into squares not the usual pie wedges, leaving a few center pieces with all the toppings and several small squares of nothing but crust. I don't know who ever thought that was a good idea. The pepperoni is usually slightly burnt and VERY greasy. You can actually pour the grease... more
We stayed at this hotel during the Thanksgiving holiday. When we returned one night after being gone all day our door to our room was open. After reporting it to the staff one seemed concerned at first and then two others could care less including management. Apparently it has been blamed on the housekeeping staff and funny enough they said... more
If you must stay in the Hamburg-ish, southernly section of the Buffalo area, you'll quickly discover choices in nice lodging are pretty darned slim. Altho the Clarion in Blasdell is not the kind of hotel that makes a vacation special, it is certainly utilitarian for the business traveler, and tho completely without charm, it's not nearly as depressing and foul... more
