I booked a room by telephone and faxed confirmation in June for a room in August 2008. 3 days before I was due to arrive in Tunisia the hotel phoned me to concel the booking due to a shortage of rooms! This left me without accommodation for my holiday as August is very busy on kerkennah. more

We booked a week stay at the Grand Hotel, Kerkennah Island Tunesia when we were living in London, purely based on how insanely cheap it was - I think it was about 250 pounds half board. If you like resort hotels, crowded, noisy beaches, hawkers, clubbing, or being one of the herd, then KERKENNAH ISLAND is NOT for you.
