more than you would expect to get in a village, great garden (need it to avoid heat), cool restaurant, clean room, hot water all the way, no bugs, money exchange and all in all helpful staff. a short climb to the hill behind the hotel for sunsets is a bonus. for $25 a night it's a fair deal. more

One of the best options in town, particularly because of a very nice dining room with artist-designed pieces of furniture including tables, chairs, chests. Food is rather standard, however decent and safe. Also the rooms display interesting pieces of furniture, are spacious and well lighted. Also send copy of email direct to owner at luaulseged2007@yahoo.com Hotel will pick up at airport (22 km distant) for reasonable 80 Birr per person ($8) round trip. Perched on top of hill, overlooks village below and mountains in distance. Nice balcony to get the view. Room is moderate... more
