Mtoni Marine was great. We loved the dining under the stars and the jasmine on our beds. The location was very convenient; being on the beach but in the direct vicinity of Stone Town. We enjoyed the “Mrembo traditional Spa” with its unique atmosphere and local ingredients and the neighboring Mtoni Palace was absolutely interesting. The (Club) rooms are clean... more

The hotel is one to one half hours from the airport the road gets bad along the way with big potholes. Arrived at the hotel and greeted with a fruit cocktail and warm towels. We stayed at Imani for about 8 days in October this year. Simon is such a generous and friendly host for whom nothing is too much effort, and the other staff members always have a big smile and cheerful Swahili greeting to teach you. Every night the guests would wander out to the beach directly in front of the villa... more
