Tankah inn is a located in the beautiful Tankah bay, about 10km from Tulum city center. We stayed there for 4 nights in early January - in the Tikal room. The room is just amazing, opens directly to the sea with a huge bay window. The hotel only has 5 rooms, and it makes for a very intimate, calm atmosphere.... more

Julie's Getaway is an overpriced camping experience. While the setting is beautiful, and the snorkeling and reef are nice, the facilities are sorely lacking. Gabby and Luis, the caretakers, try very hard to make the stay enjoyable. However, sleeping was difficult after my boys found huge black scorpions in their beds.
