I had a pleasant stay (2 weeks). Clean rooms. Good hot water pressure, but shower heads low. Chair outside to enjoy evening. Real breakfast, quick and hot. Good Grits. Never got free newspaper but didn't care. Wireless internet is very fast and easy to use. For extended stay, I booked room with small refrigerator and microwave; very handy. Nice staff.... more

I have played the course at least once a year since it opened over ten years ago. I don't see what the big deal is!?!? It's a nice course, but nothing special.If you want to play a mountain course this isn't one!It's open and mostly flat. There are many better courses (public and private) within 50 miles. Pinehurst or Hickory... more
