Brand new, with a nice bright and inviting feel to it. The food was excellent. Very impressed and good location if going to U of ND. more

We recently stayed in this hotel, over the weekend, while in town for a family funeral. Rented a Suite, which was located next to the lobby and the breakfast bar room. Had to switch rooms, as getting a good nights rest was nearly impossible. The only good thing about this hotel were the pillows and the flat screen TV's. Other... more

By far the best hotel in Grand Forks. Easy walk to campus, or a hockey game, or a football game. Good customer service and they give you cookies when you check in! The room was clean and fresh. The hotel is only about 5 years old! more

The Bronze Boot has gone down the tubes since Darcy (owner/founder) died. After being a good customer of theirs for many years, we spent our money for the last time there last night. The grilled chicken alfredo had been cooked ahead of time and put on a plate in the refrigerator and then microwaved before serving it. The sauce had... more

In town as part of business travel, and always looking to check out the 'local flavor'...stopped in for a late dinner and couple of beers before a next-morning flight. Huge list of sandwiches on the menu. The reuben was pretty good, and the beer was served up in an ice-cold schooner (aka fishbowl)...and both were VERY quick to arrive after... more

We selected the Bronze Boot from a Yellow page ad and this was our first visit. I remember the place driving past with my parents when I was a kid. That was a long time ago. The food was delicious and well presented. The service was friendly however a bit rushed despite the restaurant was not overly busy the evening... more

Very good for the money. Conveniently located off I29 in the Simonson Truck Stop. Great breakfast and diner type food. Whether you are having eggs or Walleye, it is all good. more

Ramada Inn Grandforks

I had to stay here on a last minute business trip so my stay only involved going to bed and having breakfast. I checked in around 9:00PM and was gone by 8:00AM the next day. The staff were all very friendly to me, despite my semi-comatose daze. Breakfast was good too. It was ready quickly and kept me on my... more

I frequently stay at many HGI's around the country and this is one of the better ones I've seen. If you need to do business at the University of North Dakota it is right across the street (even connected by a walkway). Yes as many have stated, there is a train track right in front of the hotel, but I... more

Stayed at this hotel as part of a function at the University of North Dakota. Though on the ground floor with parking right out my window, room was quiet. Was also clean and comfortable. Wired internet in room worked speedily. Restaurant breakfasts were very good, too. I didn't hear any trains. The first night there was a raucous wedding dance... more

Good home cooking in a relaxed diner atmoshphere. We had breakfast and the food was very good, reasonably priced, and a value for the money. Service was prompt and friendly. It is on par with the restauants along the Interstate (Long Haul, Emerald Grill and Big Sioux). It is better food and value than the big chains in town. more

The Red Pepper

The food is made fresh daily and you know it when you take your first bite!! I was impressed because everyone told me I had to go there when I came to town. The staff is sassy, fun, and fairly eccentric. I definitely recommend it to anyone. I ate there 3 times in 5 days!! Awesome! more

When I booked the room I had asked for a king. When we arrived I was told that I had a "single bed" Had to upgrade to 2 queens which meant an upgrade in price. I am a smoker so had requested a smoking room but WOW! Walked into the "smoking building" and it was the worse thing I have... more

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Grand Forks/UND, on Sep. 29, 2008. The hotel is located at the University of North Dakota and is convenient to I-29. The property is very clean and attractive and our room was large and comfortable. Because the hotel is convenient to the interstate highway, a wide selection of restaurants can be easily reached... more

Rhombus Guys wins "best pizza" awards year after year, and they deserve it. Between their crust, fresh ingredients, and varied, affordable beer list, it's worth the trip from much-larger Winnipeg, even if you have to wait at the border. more

We love this place for a date night when we want to be kids again! The pizza is a somewhat high priced but worth it when it gets to your table piping hot! MMMmmm! The game room provides us with a bit of "young-itis". It's fun to re-live our childhood's over and over again! Skee-Ball is my favorite! more

My in-laws love this place, especially for their pick'n'pair lunch combo. I must say that picking what exactly will come with my meal is nice. The prices can get a bit decieving as each thing sits in a different price category but they have some of my favorites on there, so not too much to complain about. The food is... more

This is a restaurant we frequent quite often. The staff know us by name and everything is prepared exactly the way we like it. Most of the time, there is only one person working so the wait can get long, but once the food arrives, it was worth the wait. The prices can be a bit high, but they do... more

and Grizzly's misses it completely. My fiance and father-in-law love this restaurant but it gives nothing spectacular in the means of taste. Everything is really blan or caked with what tastes like microwaved cheese. The service is hit and miss. Sometimes we have servers who have been great and catered to our every need. Recently we had a server who... more
