Reserved by phone and received confirmation by email @ $ 175.00 for the night. Arrived and was asked to sign a rate confirmation/registration for $199.00, protested and was told that this room faced "the lake" versus "the gardens" after a little argument the $ 175.00 was respected. We stayed there for our wedding weekend since we were getting married just over the border in Ontario. The service there was so bad it’s laughable. We booked our weeding a year and a half before the "D" date. The arrangements were going fine and the Chateau-Vaureuil was as expected.
