My Hub and I stayed over at Hilltonia for 2 nights. We had a warm welcome from the owner. They are really nice and offered us information about the area, etc. The accommodation is average. The sofa was a little spoilt. They had electrical blanket but they didnt place them properly and there are wires running across the bed. I... more
Tried making a reservation for this hotel through the web, but couldn’t find any sites that allowed me to book the 2 bedroom suite. Eventually I had to contact the hotel directly to book the room, which meant I probably paid too much for it (most of the internet prices for the smaller rooms were around 50% cheaper than the... more
This hotel is probably the nicest in Rye. We only stayed overnight and were lucky to have found accommodation at the last minute. On checking all the websites it appeared everything was booked but when I called I found out that they do not advertise on the net during their peak seasons. This hotel is situated in the rear of... more
Went on a golf week with some friends and had great fun, the staff went out of their way to help us, in preparing early morning breakfasts, the rooms were spotlessly cleaned each day, very comfortable and could not find a fault. Well recommended. more
We stayed in the Weeroona for a long weekend in Oct 2007, and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It's a little piece of luxury, and feels like it's in its own little world - so it's a perfect place just to get away from it all and relax. The owners - Phil and Diane - are just great people to... more
We stayed in the Coral cottage at Hilltonia and it was fantastically secluded and romantic! The only negatives being water pressure as it took along time to fill the spa, however with the current water restrictions.. we could not really complain! Directly opposite the Peninsula Springs too, which are great! more
My partner and I had a most amazing time of our life at the Peninsula Hot Springs. We were booked in for a Natural Plus treatment which included lunch, unlimited time in the public bath, half an hr in the private outdoor bath and an hr of very relaxing massage. After travelling from overseas and arriving in Melbourne in the... more
Mornington Peninsula is a beautiful spot along the tip of Port Phillip bay in Victoria, known for its vineyards which are nestled amongst the green hills along the coast. We were initially thrilled with our accomodation, we booked a King Spa Suite, one of the nicer rooms at One- Four Nelson. Prior to our holiday, we booked in for a... more
Weeroona in a wonderfully private, luxury B&B in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula. We stayed in the Phuket suite which is the largest of the suites (suitable for up to six people, but very comfortable for two). The bathroom had a corner spa bath and a large window with views outside to the Australian bushland. Saturday morning started with... more
I stayed at the One Four Nelson in Feb 06. I had done a lot of research about where to stay and came to the conclusion that it looked nice and was in a good location. The pool area was significantly smaller than it looked in the photos. We were in a ground floor room which opened out onto the... more
