We stayed in the top room at the hotel, (one featured on website) which was pleasnt, nice beams, but the bathroom was very average. The breakfasts were good, albeit service was very hit and miss. We booked a "Thursday night special" and received a free upgrade to one of their "best" rooms in the row of cottages adjacent to the main building. Booked 2 x best rooms for Thurs - Sun stay. On arrival we were informed that only one 'best' room was available the other room was booked for Fri - Mon!
