We stayed here for one night (Saturday) and when we checked in we found out we were not staying in the pub (there are 5 rooms there I think) but across the road in the Gatekeepers cottage...it was amazing! We stayed here for one night in June and brief though it was,we enjoyed the experience.The only room left was a four Poster at £130 (no negotiation for a last minute booking);it was at the front of the hotel,very light and spacious and with a very comfortable bed. Downstairs,the decoration in the bar area was very traditional but nicely done... more
