“Port Huon Cottages - All rooms with water views”

These comfortable self contained cottages opened in October 2006 so still have that new feel about them. Whilst they are situated on the high side of the main road to Geeveston, any traffic noise isn't a problem. As Queenslanders we wanted to experience 'life in a cold climate'. We found Cambridge House absolutely delightful. Our room (I think it was the 'Geeves Room') exuded old world charm but with classy modern amenities. We weren't told that there was a little "golf buggy" type vehicle available to help us to reach the entrance to the Air Walk. As a consequence, my wife struggled up the hill to entrance with her artificial hip and it was a very long hard climb. AND we ordered a small meal in the cafe; this took FORTY MINUTES... more
