I traveled with my daughter and her infant son. The room was large, well-furbushed. The crib was set up AND had a blanket. The continental breakfast was much more than coffee and sweet rolls - a nice surprise. The staff brought a high chair even BEFORE we requested one. We will stay at this facility again - and again. more

Fort Meigs is not linked to the Indian Wars of the 1790s. The fort was built by William Henry Harrison in 1813 in this spot because it overlooks rapids in the Maumee River which was a "choke point" that would slow up the British. Stayed one night. Very comfortable king bed with flat screen TV directly in front of the bed on the wall. (Unlike the TV location described by some other reviews.)
