We stayed at The Timberlanes Inn while in the Salem Ohio Area for mid-week business seminars. Timberlanes is under NEW OWNERSHIP and NEW MANAGEMENT. I recently had my wedding at timberlanes...yes it is old..and yes you can tell its old..it's not incredibly upgraded and it could use some work but I truly liked it! The rooms in which the wedding was were gorgeous...again they are old but it was beautiful just the same. The staff is all friendly and wonderful. The rooms are cozy.... more

I had to stay in or near Salem and this was all I could find. Other reviews weren't exactly glowing, but I didn't expect this! The building seems to be a 60's motel with a new facade. A leaky, discolored plastic roof creates a "courtyard" between the two original buildings. Concrete block walls, two stories, with the former porches now... more
