After driving through the depressing majority of Kansas I had little hope for a decent night's sleep after crossing into Oklahoma. I was pleasantly surprised by the courteous staff at the Best Western here in Blackwell. The rate as compared to the remainder of places we chose to stay on this particular road trip was adequate. Maybe it is because the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, but our stay was quiet and comfortable. The parking lot seemed to be full, but we had a delightful stay. For the money, this is an excellent place to get a good night's sleep. I will stay again at this hotel anytime my family and I are traveling... more

We selected this hotel because of location, and also because they are pet friendly and we travel with a small dog. They are right off of the interstate. Couldn't believe how nice it was!! The room was CLEAN!!! the heating system actually worked !!! the bed was WONDERFUL!!! Also a really good continental breakfast. And there isn't any "but" at... more
