I experienced the Venetian for the first time last night...wonderful! I remember the old theatre and I am thrilled that they have done something new and exciting with the space. We had drinks and an appetizer and saw a movie. Fun, spirited place that I can't wait to take my "Portland" friends to. more
Ok, this is a nice, small-town, roadside grill. If you're a burger afficionado you only need to know one thing and why the subject of this review is OVERHYPED: the burger patties are frozen. Sure, they throw two of the sliders on a humongous bun and their "special" sauce (mayo, mustard, relish) is not bad but please folks -- this... more
This hotel was absolutely disgusting. We come in from Michigan for a family event and the front entrance was quite a cover-up for what we found as we turned the corner to head to our room. As we headed to our room we noticed that the walls were no longer a pretty wallpaper as in the front, they were now... more
This hotel is horrible. We just had a party for our grandmothers 75th birthday party and I would never go back. The food was disgusting at best (I mean why bother asking someone how they want their steak cooked just to decide that you are going to serve them all rare but not tell anyone tell they cut into it... more
We have eaten at Farmhouse many times, good food, good service. a good avalue for the money. even better when using restaurant.com coupon. more
We used this property for a "girls night away" and booked 4 rooms with double beds and a hide a bed. The space was more than adequate, rooms were very clean and comfortable. The motel staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. Not fancy.. but reasonable and comfortable. Close to MAX for trips downtown! more
The service is awful, the staff is not well trained at all. We have an infant and had couldn't take her thru the main doors so had to go thru the side door and up the stairs with the car seat. Minors are only allowed upstairs and can't use the elevator. The food isn't bad. They need to be a... more
We had an excellent stay at Orenco Manor Suites and would recommed them to anyone that is traveling to the Portland/Hillboro area! The rooms were spacious and clean and they also have a few pet friendly suites which was so nice for us! more
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience at the Venetian! It reminds us of the popular TV program "Cheers!" A place to go where everyone knows (or will know) your name! The atmosphere allows any kind of dress (up or down); the menu offers a great variety of good food and changes often; and it is a place where you can... more
We called at 1:00 a.m. after a late arrival in Portland via Amtrak. We checked here because of the great reviews on TripAdvisor and were pleased to find that they were accurate. We had a lovely room, A1, which is just below street level in a Brownstone building. There was a pretty private patio with a small fountain at the... more
Starting with positive feedback, the staff was very friendly and the lobby looked nice and clean. The room did not - it was very small, dingy, smelled of cigarette smoke (it was a non-smoking room). The door to adjacent room were right next to the bed and I could hear the entire movie the people next door enjoyed, it wasn't... more
Hillsboro puts on some great markets. Saturday and Tuesday Night in Downtown and the Sunday Market at Orenco Station. They are all just a little different as far as goods available and entertainment. We really enjoy community events as a way to connect with people and getting to sample local flavors makes it perfect. We had a nice time at... more
We ate here during an Art Walk while visiting the area. The Main Street location is ideal and I think they could play up their decor a bit more. This place seemed popular which made for tight seating. Hopefully they can expand but keep their downtown location. The staff and service was excellent, it had a welcoming family feel. We... more
When staying in Hillsboro for a tournament someone gave us a tip to try this place. We were blown away. It is hands down the best sushi place in the Northwest. The very charming setting is just one block from Main Street in the old library. The decor is very nice and the layout is cool, like a cozy pub... more
1st thai in Oregon, still getting it right! more
I stayed at this hotel for business travel, and was a little underwhelmed. The room was fine, and the bed was above average. I don't know if all the rooms are like this, but I had a microwave, stove and full size refrigerator. The refrigerator was kind of noisy, but I could unplug it since I didn't need it. The... more
we were in town for a national triathlon and this hotel was offered. The room was great, pristine condition, great bed linens, towels, mints, popcorn, the room looked new. breakfast was wonderful.full buffet, everything you could ask for, including newspapers. attentive staff.they far exceeded our expectations and we would love to stay here anytime we're in the area. more
The way they arrange the food in the plate is very artistic. The food is not only looks interesting but taste fabulous as well. This is a small restaurant which is kind of hidden behind a Fred Meyer. I don't really like the location because entrance and exit from the parking lot. Plus it's kind of in a dark area.... more
