The Shilo Inn-Medford is an easy off/easy back on to the highway. We were on our way to northern Oregon for vacation. I had stayed at this Shilo Inn a couple of years ago and was so pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks after its recent remodel. The manager, Sharon, made a point of greeting us at breakfast. This is an organic foods cafe in the heart of downtown Ashland. This is the best salad bar I've ever had. All organic, exceptionally fresh and diverse. They did not have much of a menu beyond soups, sandwiches and salads, but if you like healthy organic quick food, this is the place to go. more
