This is a great place to stay. In my case I came for business but noticed several people who were there to have fun. It is a very quiet and peaceful environment. The hotel staff is very helpful and ready to help. The only exception are the drivers of the vans that take you around the resort for free. They... more

We rented one of the houses available through the resort. Check out their web site and you can see exactly what you're renting. We received a fast response and several choices. The place we had was on Eagle Cap and it was adorable. Clean, well-kept with all the amenities you need. Check in and check out was a breeze and... more

My husband and I stayed at the Sunriver Resort the week of August 9-16 as part of a family vacation. There was a delay at check-in (for many people) that kept us out of our room until almost 5:00, but the rest of the family had rented houses so we had places to visit during the wait. Our room was... more

Mavericks at Sunriver

When renting a vacation home/condo, make sure it belongs to Mavericks, then you don't have to pay for the entrance fee to the club. However, you still have to pay $20.00 for using the waterflow for 1 1/2 hour. There are specifiic times when this machine is operating, so be aware of it. My kids tried it at 3PM one... more

We stayed at the Sunriver Resort for a conference over a 3 day period. We flew into Portland and drove for what seemed like eternity. Coming from Hawaii, we are not so used to the long drives like this. But once we got to the resort, we found it to be very nice. Our room was right next to the... more

I recommend the resort for a family gateway. There are tons of things to do and relax. The atmosphere is great. We booked a two bed condo which was very spacious, clean and well furnished. I would definately return. more

My family (2 adults, 2 children) has visited Sunriver for a summer vacation each of the last 4 years. We typically come in mid -June, right after our kids get out of school, when the resort is still relatively quiet, and we've rented the same house every year. We love coming to Sunriver because of the countless activities offered in... more

We traveled from Chicago with 3 young children on the advice of friends who had toured through Oregon. We rented a 3 bedroom townhouse type accomodations right on the golf course. We found the whole experience wonderful. We took advantage of the golf, biking, nearby white water rafting, tennis & pool. Our accomodations were excellent. Did not eat out much-... more

I agee with the other two reviews. I was also told by the staff how great it would be and we spent WAY too much money getting in the club and using the overrated wave pool. There is also an overrated arcade for kids...which again costs money. They simply take every opportunity to empty your pockets. Some of the rental... more

We had a small wedding party brunch on the patio. Our waitress and the staff were attentive, the food excellent and service timely. Menu items to fit a wide variety of tastes, reasonable prices, beautiful setting. more

We had a very enjoyable weekend at Sunriver Resort. Our room was in the group of cabins 101-150. It was a decent size, king bed, gas fireplace, with a rustic beam ceiling. Clean, well appointed. The place was quiet except for our noisy neighbors the last night. The main lodge offers some good but not great eating options. Service was... more

We ate at Marcello's last Friday evening. Food and service was excellent. We shared an appetizer of trio crostini, olive tapenade, goat cheese and roasted garlic and red peppers. I had the osso bucco which came with linguini, excellent! and my husband had the capellini de mare, which was a pasta with scallops and tomato cream sauce, also excellent. Service... more

We ate Sunday brunch at The Trout House this past week and everything was excellent. I had the in house smoked salmon hash ($8.95) and my husband had the eggs benedict. ($8.95). We also shared a fresh fruit platter which had strawberries, mango, melon and pineapple. Food was NOT overpriced and the service was excellent. more

My friends and I stayed in one of the rental houses at the Sunriver Resort property. Our house was on Antelope Ln. and it worked very well for us. The house had a hot tub, wireless internet access, flat screen TV with a home theatre sound system and DVD player, washer and dryer, and everything else that we needed. Within... more

Service is flawless. Brunch is quite good. For the price, I expected rooms that equal Sheraton or Westin Hotels. But instead, I found an overpriced Best Western room with a fireplace. In the winter, they do not have enough ice melt or cannot keep up and so be careful. I had to drive to the main lodge because I could... more

My family and I recently stayed in a home that had access to the Mavericks. We were told on the phone when we made the reservation about how great it was and how much fun we would have there. With limited dining options in Sunriver Aloha Cafe stands out. I am a local and I love this place! My husband and I vacation on the islands and eating at Merv's place is like a little mini Hawaii. I have stayed at Sunriver condos and rental houses a dozen times in the past, but this was my first time staying in a Sunriver lodge room. It was a terrific stay. I booked the reservation through Expedia, and ended up adding an extra night through the hotel. The single room was compact and cozy. It had recently been renovated... more

I booked this room through Vacation Internationale. This was my first stay at a VI resort and my first time in Sunriver and I must say I was very impressed. It didn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms were beautiful. The room was a loft style with a second murphy bed downstairs. The kitchen was fully equipped.... more
