Lovely museum located, appropriately, in an abandoned subway station. It's right in downtown Brooklyn and you can get there by a short walk from a real subway station. Nice selection of rolling stock from many periods, lovingly restored. Great and informative information on the bulding and history of the subway system and its impact on the city of New York.... more

I guess it's all about the experience. Our group of 13 got there mid-afternoon on a Saturday, with no expectation of sitting together, but the management did manage to get us in a single table (or set of tables pushed together). I've gotta say, the reviews of this hotel aren't so great but when I walked into the room, I was pretty blown away. The room is large and modern with all ultra high end amenities, bedding, etc. There really is NOTHING wrong with the room. For the price, this place is very reasonable and I will definitely stay here again... more
