After seeing pictures of the Hotel Mina/Hvar in Jelsa i was a bit worried what it would be like, as the pictures werent great! The hotel is in a great location, short walk from the centre of Jelsa which is a pretty harbour town and on small coastal road that connects Jelsa to the neighbouring harbour town of Vrboska. We have recently been to jelsa on hvar island in croatia, it is a beautifull little harbour village with lots of good resteraunts (murevica being one of the best) which is away from the harbour at the back of the village but well worth a visit. You can hire boats for the day for around £40 and head off round... more
