First time I visited Keyes View was around 1958 while stationed with the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton. You could see the Salton Sea easily and even a small portion of Mexico. I recently revisited Keyes View (2002)and could not believe how much smog is now in the valley. The view is still great but not what it use to... more
