I was looking forward to Sosua Beach, but was a little disappointed. We were promised a white sand beach with torquoise waters (which our resort didn't have) and we did get that...plus garbage, crowds, and people hassling us. Been to sosua many times!Sosoa beach and the market a must,frendly people and great beer.Will recomend to anybody more

Sousua was wonderful. The town is quaint and full of charm. Little shops and resturants. The beach was beautiful with nice sand and a touch of class and lots of people watching. Go. You won't regret it. more

If you are a certified Diver or would like to get your certification, then consider a trip to Sosua Bay, North Shore of Dominican Republic. I have had the good fortune of Diving in many places. the big beach was nice, but the "poco" (ie: small) beach was our favourite - of course we were there before the big hotel was built. The memory of watching the sun set from the poco beach with my girlfriend in utter relaxation, knowing we were completely out of reach of the world back home is one that will continue... more
