We've been to CGB many times, and it's fine, beautiful, fun as long as no holiday "powerboat conventions" are happening. We moored there last 4th of July after a stay in heavenly Anegada, and it was culture shock - dozens of big powerboats dropped anchor & were tied up next to each other just off the beach.
