We visited the Butterfly Farm as part of a shore excursion through Norwegian Cruise Lines. After the throngs of people jamming the narrow streets of George Town (there were 6 cruise ships in port the day we were there, and another guide said that was not uncommon), sitting amongst colorful butterflies and gorgeous flowers was a wonderful respite. We liked the butterflly farm. You see butterflies from around the world. They give a short, informative tour and demonstration. Soft music plays in the background. There are benches for you to sit on and even a small goldfish pond. Also they have free water from a cooler, which was very nice of them. We took the butterfly farm express... more
