I thought I would write a short review as the ones here are 4 years out of date and so misleading.... Glad to have visited Provo for two weeks but thought the island very overrated. Stayed at the Alexandra right on Grace Bay and enjoyed the walks along the beach but there really isn't much else on the island!! Had a hired four wheel drive but there's nowhere special to go to! Having been to Aruba, Bahamas, St. Croix, Cancun, Cozumel, Maui & Kauai, Grand Cayman, I think we have developed a pretty good sense of what to expect when traveling. The island of Providenciales will hopefully be in a couple of years more of what people are looking for when they go on tropical vacations. Shopping is very minimal and the... more

Grace Bay Beach is wonderful. We were there during low season (June 2004) and the beach was uncrowded. The beach is very wide and long. It is a wonderful beach to walk, jog along.
