I first visited Hussong's on an Animal House road trip in 1975. My compadres and I arrived at high noon and left at 9:00PM, royally hammered by virtue of the strong drink and lively atmosphere. This bar doesn't look like anything form the outside. in fact, if you try to peek your head in, it all you can see is a screen partition and maybe a guard or two standing in the doorway. perhaps it looks a little intimidating, but be adventurous! all are welcome here.
