Lake Louise sits in a beautiful location surrounded on three sides by mountains and on the fourth by the Chateau Lake Louise. There is an excellent path along one side of the lake which is suitable for people of all abilities and further walks start from this path for the more adventurous. We had lunch in the Chateau, which was... more

Make sure to get there early in the morning, elsewise you could be parking down the road with a... more
Lake Louise is magnificent to see, but the hike to the Lake Agnes Teahouse offers even better views. more
I joined a day hike to Lakes Agnes/ Big Beehive at Lake Louise on 16 June 2005. There are 7 of us: a friendly Swiss couple having their honeymoon, a chatty American lady whose birthday was on the day when we took our hike, a friendly American couple, our French Canadian guide from “Discover Banff Tours” and of course myself.... more
