My family is wimps when it comes to physical activities, but we rented bikes and rode around the sea wall twice. Everyone enjoyed it, and the views are beautiful. There are no hills, and the breeze off of the ocean makes it very cool, so it was a nice time. We took a horse drawn carriage tour, and it was... more

Rent bikes and explore the island! There is so much here. Our family enjoyed watching our first cricket match, visited the Vancouver aquarium, visited the petting zoo, rode the miniature train, and enjoyed the beautiful island and the incredible views it offers. We stayed downtown at the Ramada and it was a straight shot down to the island. It was... more

Stanley Park is on par with other great urban parks like Central Park in New York and Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The free shuttle is a good way to get an overview of the park. The views are amazing. We have a two year old and she loved the playground, and the walkways. My wife liked the Fish... more

I went to Stanley Park three times during my week-long visit. We explored on foot and the interior pedestrian-only paths one day, then went back two times to bicycle the gorgeous, waterfront perimeter. Easy bicycling, but go early to avoid the crowds. You can rent bicycles at Spokes (and other locations) just outside the park. Spectacular vistas, you may even... more

I must say I love Stanley Park. Walking or cycling the seawall around the park is great exercise with a view. Then continue on down the beaches, English Bay is the best downtown beach. Second beach has the great pool. Kits beach is the best near downtown though. You can visit the Aquarium, eat at a few good restaurants, see... more

Wow. I have been to many parks around the world but none are so great as Stanley Park. For starters, The Seawall is amazing! Take your bicycle, rolerblades or just hike it. It is along the shore line and every inch there is something to be be seen. Ever seen a seagull dive in the ocean and come out with... more

Myself and my partner decided to rent a tandem bike to see the whole of the island, and while we both agreed single bikes would have been better we would recomend touring the island to anyone. If the weather is good the views are gorgeous, it is hard to believe that the park is a short 15 min stroll from... more

This is a really nice park. Well laid out, easy to get around. Well maintained, lovely flowers & trees. Easy to get to by public transportation. We thoroughly enjoyed walking around. The totem poles were very interesting. more

Stanley Park was lovely to walk in, and we did spend a lot of time in the park, we went on the free tram which involved getting wet when we went past the water park as all the children like to spray water at the passing trams! I didn't mind though as it was a lovely warm day. The totem... more

Located just NW of Vancouver, Stanley Park is an great picture spot w/Vancouver skyline as backdrop. It includes a yachts-filled Coal Harbor and across from the famous Pan Pacific Hotel and Vancouver Convention Center. The park has biking and running trails along the seawall. Other attractions includes Totem Poles, a lighthouse & within photo distance of the Lion Bridge. There... more
