While I enjoyed the view after getting across the bridge - I think it should come with some sort of warning. The main bridge (and the stairs down from each side) twists over the central axis. Yes, they do try to keep people from making the bridge move too much, but I nearly became ill just trying to walk across.... more

Yes this attraction is quite pricey. Yes you're paying to see nature. Yes, it's just a bridge. And yes, it's a touristy attraction. BUT once you get past the bridge and the touristy-ness, the fun starts. I dragged my friend here while on our trip to Vancouver. It was something I had stumbled upon and thought would be kinda neat... more

So to understand my own mindset, I had no intention of going in to walk around this area. I'm not fond of heights and felt that I'd humor my husband by stopping so he could enjoy a hike before our Alaskan cruise. My own plans were to enjoy the outdoors and read a book for an hour. But I neglected... more

I don't mind wasting money because money can be replaced, but not time. We had one day in Vancouver before our cruise and decided to pack up our entire family and to go to this "attraction". They built a theme park around a rope bridge similar to what you would find in a kid's playground. I had to see it... more

I hesitated with the four star rating verses a three. The price is high, the tourist crowds annoying, but the service was excellent in all cases resulting in the four star rating. The park is scenic. The bridge and treetops adventure, even the little free tour were all underwhelming. Yet, this is still a must see spot and I quite... more

We went to Capilano on a gorgeous day in June and enjoyed ourselves a lot. It's about $28/adult, so if all you're planning to do is walk across the suspension bridge, go to Lynn Canyon instead. Once you cross the bridge, though, there are a few other very worthwhile things to do: the CliffHanger Boardwalk is a beautiful path with... more

Nothing much except for a suspension bridge (which is actually much shorter than I had expected) Trees, informational tours. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Spent maybe 30 min. total. Ticket cost ~$27. Views were okay but not breathtaking or memorable. more

Some see Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park as a tourist trap and at $28.00 it's not for the cost conscious. BUT it speaks volumes about the natural beauty of the west coast and her history. It's not about just walking across the bridge or the tree tops.. that takes all of 30 minutes. It's also about learning the history about... more

Entering is quite expensive but the suspension bridge is well worth the visit for the beauty of the area. The forest surrounding and view from the bridge are absolutely beautiful. The walkways are well kept and despite having gone on a rainy day, they were no slippery. Which was a surprise considering the walkways are wood. The shop there also... more

This involves just walking over a suspension bridge and a short walk through some pine trees and platforms. We spent a total of 30 minutes there and had covered the entire area. For the cost of the tickets this is an absolute rip off. We would recommend driving up the road further to the park and viewing the river from... more
